Capabilities Established since 1994, DUCAPLAST played a significant role in the development of plastic packaging for closed-loop systems, primarily in the Automotive industry. Our Design office of 3 engineers operates from Solidworks CAD software stations to develop from clients' initial brief specific packaging solutions. Bespoke solutions account for about half of DUCAPLAST total revenues. Based in Wormhout, on the A25 close to Dunkirk in northern France, DUCAPLAST is conveniently located at the heart of Europe's highway system, close to most major European economic and industrial areas. Twin-sheet thermoforming The technology found major applications in the packaging industry because of exceptional impact strength in comparison with solid material (wood, injected plastic, metal) pallet box systems. The hollow, lightweight structure makes twin-sheet packaging very ergonomic and user-friendly. Its good rigidity makes it suitable for a large majority of industrial packaging applications. Designing twin-sheet solutions to meet our customer requirements is a core capability of DUCAPLAST. Our Design engineers operate Solidworks CAD software systems to develop from clients' initial brief bespoke packaging solutions.
